Injuries from motor vehicle accidents range from mild to serious, but their effects can be long-lasting and difficult to deal with. After a motor vehicle accident, you can claim massages through your motor vehicle insurance after completing a few important first steps:

You must see your doctor, physiotherapist, chiropractor, or healthcare provider before coming for massage treatments. They will fill out an AB-2 form to submit to your insurance company. This form needs to be completed within 10 days of your accident. Please request an extra copy so we can have it on file as well.

It’s very important that you consult your usual healthcare provider so they can help you make the best decisions for your treatment and recovery.

Once you’ve completed this short process you can begin to receive massage treatments. Based on the evaluation of your injuries by your healthcare provider, you’ll receive 10-21 treatments that can be used toward physiotherapy, chiropractic services, or massage therapy. You can choose to use all treatments toward a single type of service, or spread them out between the three types of services.
