Rapid Neurofascial Reset is a hands on release of restriction in the affected tissues, joint capsules and nerve entrapment’s which causes a neurological change in our systems reset/release and therefore our perception of pain. Treatment is done fully clothed and In addition to the periosteum (the lining around the bone) we also focus our work on the aponeurosis, nerve sheaths, tendons, joint capsules and ligaments as these tissues are also the highly neurological. Simply put RAPID addresses dysfunctional nerve endings to reduce tissue tensions and pain and place the body in a relaxed state.

What to expect at your session?

Client is fully clothed. Movement is incorporated for most effective release. Every session is a combination of examination and treatment. The RAPID provider uses his or her hands to evaluate the texture, tightness and movement of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments and nerves. Hypersensitive areas are treated by combining precisely directed tension with very specific patient movements.

RAPID sessions may be uncomfortable during the movement phase of the treatment. This occurs as the neurological system is being stimulated to restore normal function. RNFR is recognized as a massage therapy modality and therefore is covered under massage therapy in your health care plan.
